No.35 will take its place on another jersey after years of service in the Thunders. This is the first – for sure there are more to come this summer – mega buck deal in the NBA sphere.
Small forward superstar Kevin Durant has just initiated a new chapter, which brings him to Golden State Warriors. Our comment: No jealousy scale enough to describe our feelings for the tones of magic the fans at Oracle Arena are going to witness this season!!! Kind of wondering if that deal was in KD’s mind when he wore the already famous basketball sleeve shoe a couple of months ago?! Nike built it based on KD’s specifications for maximum control and heighten court-feel, creating KD 8 Elite. In full honesty, this blog was written a few hours after this hyper signing thus we are abit shocked and impatient at the same time.
We would like to close with a small hint for No.35 we all notice in golden colour on KD 8 Elite, mm away from the Swoosh sign. It is KD’s tribute and devotion to his first coach, Charles Graig who was murdered at the age of 35…
